BUILDING A HISTORY OF SUCCESS. In 1994 Donald R. Taylor and David E. Dunham left Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP to form Taylor & Dunham LLP. In 2006, the firm became Taylor, Dunham and Burgess, LLP.

DEDICATED TRIAL COUNSEL. Taylor, Dunham and Burgess is devoted exclusively to the trial and arbitration of disputes. We represent companies and individuals, both plaintiffs and defendants, who are in need of litigation counsel. We have represented clients in litigation in most areas of the law including contract and commercial litigation, corporate fiduciary litigation, professional malpractice, securities litigation, intellectual property litigation, labor and employment litigation, collections, bankruptcy preference litigation, class action litigation, and personal injury litigation.

EFFICIENT REPRESENTATION. Taylor, Dunham and Burgess understands that business disputes require budgeted solutions. We leverage our experience and technology to deliver our services efficiently. That is why we are able to offer our clients competitive hourly rates. We are also able to structure our fees to suit the needs of our clients, whether that means taking a case on a contingency fee basis, or a combination of an hourly and contingency fee.

A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY. The firm emphasizes community service and supports several community organizations and charities, including the Austin Arts Festival, Coats for Kids, the Junior League of Austin, and AMIGOS of Austin. The firm has also donated its legal services to assist families in adopting children from China. In the late 1990s, the firm successfully represented hundreds of low-income tenants living in substandard housing; the firm received a Volunteer Service Award from the Austin Tenants Council in recognition of its efforts. In 2004, we received the Firm Award from the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association.
